STANDARDS & DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES 業界標準與發展 BUS I NESS REV I EW 業務回顧 42 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2019 Quality Assurance and Standards Enhancement Ma i n t a i n i n g t h e q u a l i t y a n d integrity of our qualifications and development programmes are of utmost importance to the brand and reputation of the HKSI Institute. We comp l i ed wi t h a se r i es o f stringent quality assurance policies and internal control procedures to uphold and enhance the quality and standards of our examination and course offerings. This included conducting periodical review and updating of existing study manuals, q u e s t i o n b a n k s a n d c o u r s e materials to reflect timely changes and ensure they met our quality standards. During the reporting period, 10 study manuals together with our question banks have been updated to incorporate the latest regulatory and market development, including the introduction of Orion Trading Platform – Securities Market, implementation of weighted voting rights structures, virtual asset, initial coin offerings, rules and codes for open-ended fund companies, codes for asset management, rules governing listing, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, professional investors, suitability requirements, etc. 30 new courses were also added to our list of offerings in tandem with market trends, new regulatory guidelines and feedbacks received from practitioners.
