MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN 主席的話 02 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2019 The theme of this year’s annual report – Beyond Digitalisation , firmly encapsulates our steadfast commitment to continuously deliver value beyond digital transformation, towards an enriching personal and professional developmental journey for our stakeholders. We have made good progress with our digital transformation and have our eyes firmly on enhancing the services provided to our members and the financial industry. For the financial year ended 31 March 2019, the HKSI Institute achieved a pre-taxation surplus of HK$5.4 million, marking the f i f t h consecu t i ve yea r t ha t a surplus has been achieved. With a solid financial position paired with a sound and prudent cost management philosophy, we are able to advance our strategic priorities in the coming years, including investing in projects that will benefit our members and nurturing the next generation of industry practitioners. 本年度年報以「 超越數碼年代、拓展 嶄新天地 」為主題，明確體現我們實 現數碼化以繼續提供高價值服務， 助持份者促進個人及專業發展的承 諾。 我們在數碼轉型過程中取得良好進 展，展望未來，將致力增強對會員 及金融同業的服務。 在截至 2019 年 3 月 31 日止的財政年 度，學會的稅前盈餘為 540 萬港元， 創下連續 5 年錄得盈餘的佳績。維持 財政穩健，加上穩重審慎的理財哲 學，讓我們有能力在未來落實各項 重點策略，包括投資於有助促進會 員權益的項目，以及培育新一代從 業員。 Katherine NG 伍潔鏇
