Under the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), effective from 1 January 2004, Mainland professionals (defined as PRC nationals possessing valid securities, futures and funding practising qualifications in Mainland China) are recognised by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) as holding relevant industry qualifications to practise in Hong Kong.
As part of this arrangement, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has assigned the Securities Association of China (SAC) and the China Futures Association (CFA) to be the co-organizers of the Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE) in the Mainland. The LE Papers 1, 2, 6 and 16, being administered by the SAC, will be held in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an and Wuhan on 18 March 2017 (Saturday).
