Examination Invigilator (Ref: EI/HKSI/082015)

The appointee will be required to:

  • Provide examination invigilation service for computer-based and/or paper-based examinations
  • Provide all necessary on-site administrative support including pre-examination and post-examination stage
  • Supervise and deliver training to new invigilators
  • Perform any other duties related to examination as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Computer literate
  • Good report writing, communication and/or supervisory skills
  • Have a proactive working attitude and to be a team player
  • Able to work on weekdays evening and weekend
  • Teaching and invigilation experience is an asset

The post will be offered on contract or part-time (on hourly rate) basis.

Corporate Communication & Marketing Manager (Ref: M/MOD/HKSI/122015)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic and innovative approach to produce quality marketing and communication materials, including website content, annual report, in-house publications, speeches and articles
  • Coordinate with business units and external parties to design periodic and thematic promotion campaigns to meet business objectives
  • Prepare and supervise production of brochures, direct mailers, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs and multi-media programmes
  • Manage the overall presence, quality of content and navigation of the website to enhance stakeholder usage and engagement
  • Develop all the content elements of the website to ensure all information is up-to-date, comprehensive and well presented
  • Develop promotion and marketing campaigns via internet and social media to reach out to, and engage with, the professional community and targeted audience
  • Handle media enquires, researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Organise events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
  • Handle any projects being assigned by the Business Head or Department Head

Requirements

  • Possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in languages, marketing, journalism, communications or related disciplines;
  • Have 5 years of experience in marketing, prior experience as an editor or journalist is preferred
  • Online savvy with digital marketing knowledge
  • Strong visual design and typographical knowledge
  • Proven experience in website development and management, mobile application development
  • Good command of English and Chinese, excellent communication skills and writing ability (please provide 2 writing samples)
  • A good team player and be able to work independently
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong sense of responsibility and willing to work overtime
  • Self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills and good problem solving skills
  • Immediately available is an advantage

Manager, Education & Development (Ref: M/EDD/HKSI/072015)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Education & Development Department (EDD), you will be an integral part of a team that provides Continuing Professional Training/Development (CPT/CPD) programmes and learning consultancy services to our clients. You will be responsible for and/or assisting the EDD Executive Director in the following key areas:

  • Working closely with other senior training managers and key stakeholders to identify, formulate and execute training plan and programmes
  • Working closely with trainers and subject matters experts on design, development and deployment of learning solutions
  • Providing learning consultancy services to clients to help them identify the learning needs, design appropriate learning solutions and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning solutions
  • Preparing regular and special reports and conducting detailed analysis including business plans, budgets, proposals, research and evaluation reports
  • Leading ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management

Skills, Abilities and Experiences Required:

  • Solid experiences in identifying training needs, delivering, managing and evaluating training programmes
  • Proven experiences in providing learning consultancy services to clients or business partners
  • Proven experiences in instructional design of various types of learning solutions (e.g. classroom, elearn and/or blended learning solutions)
  • Familiar with different types of training and assessment tools for evaluating effectiveness of learning solutions
  • Strong writing and communication skills, both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good presentation, influencing, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage change
  • Ability to work collaboratively, taking a leading role where required and supporting where appropriate
  • Strong project management skills
  • Familiar with quality assurance as well as accreditation processes and requirements

Qualification Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Training & Development, Human Resources, or related relevant disciplines such as Information Technology Management, Business Administrative.
  • Professional qualification in learning and development will be an advantage
  • At least Five (5) years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Capital, Organisational Development, learning consultancy business or relevant experiences, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Two (2) years of managerial experience
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese). Fluent in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in PC skills such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge and experience using SQL & HTML scripting is highly preferred
  • Candidate who has experience in building/setting up learning management system and/or elearn platform is a great plus
