Examination Invigilator (Ref: EI/HKSI/082015)

The appointee will be required to:

  • Provide examination invigilation service for computer-based and/or paper-based examinations
  • Provide all necessary on-site administrative support including pre-examination and post-examination stage
  • Supervise and deliver training to new invigilators
  • Perform any other duties related to examination as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Computer literate
  • Good report writing, communication and/or supervisory skills
  • Have a proactive working attitude and to be a team player
  • Able to work on weekdays evening and weekend
  • Teaching and invigilation experience is an asset

The post will be offered on contract or part-time (on hourly rate) basis.

Corporate Communication & Marketing Manager (Ref: M/MOD/HKSI/082015)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business units and external parties to design periodic and thematic promotion campaigns to meet business objectives
  • Develop and implement a strategic and innovative approach to produce quality marketing and communication materials, including website  content, annual report, in-house publications, speeches and articles
  • Prepare and supervise production of brochures, direct mailers, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs and multi-media programmes
  • Manage the overall presence, quality of content and navigation of the website to enhance stakeholder usage and engagement
  • Develop all the content elements of the website to ensure all information is up-to-date, comprehensive and well presented
  • Develop promotion and marketing campaigns via internet and social media to reach out to, and engage with, the professional community and targeted audience
  • Handle media enquires, researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Organise events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
  • Handle any projects being assigned by the Business Head or Department Head

Requirements

  • Possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in languages, marketing, journalism, communications or related disciplines;
  • Have 5 years of experience in marketing, prior experience as an editor or journalist is preferred
  • Online savvy with digital marketing knowledge
  • Strong visual design and typographical knowledge
  • Proven experience in website development and management, mobile application development
  • Self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills and good problem solving skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese, excellent communication skills and writing ability (please provide 2 writing samples)
  • A good team player and be able to work independently
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong sense of responsibility and willing to work overtime

Learning Technology System Manager, Education & Development (Ref: LTSM/EDD/HKSI/072015)

Job Summary:

  • Oversees the performance of the learning management system (LMS) and multi-media software and platform
  • Advise on the technology aspect of the development and deployment of technology based learning solutions

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Learning Technology team leader, you will be an integral part of the team that provides instructional design on technology based learning solutions and advise on the technical aspect of the LMS and multi-media tools and platform.

You will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Perform research, recommend on the best practices and/or lead the LMS enhancement to cope with the latest technology advancement
  • Perform research and test new elearning development tools or multi-media deployment systems , approaches, methodologies and to recommend the acquisition of appropriate tools and system
  • Consult with the design team to derive elearning project specifications and advise on the development approach or method and tools
  • Prepare and develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan, coordinate and administer UAT and pilot runs of learning related systems or tools and perform testing where required
  • Identify technical, operational and functional problems of LMS, elearning tools and multi-media platform, troubleshoot identified problems, recommend and implement appropriate solutions to solve those problems
  • Be the key contact and work closely with system vendors and internal IT department to resolve all system related issues
  • Project manage the system related projects as well as elearning development projects

Skills, Abilities and Experiences Required:

  • Strong project management skills and proven experience in managing system development and enhancement
  • Good knowledge of LMS standards e.g. AICC, SCORM, etc
  • Proven experience in system administration especially LMS, multi-media platform or related systems
  • Proven experience in elearning development using HTML, JavaScript and CSS and hands-on experience in commonly used elearning development tools and technology (e.g. Flash Action Script, Macromedia Dreamweaver, etc)
  • Proficient in Windows OS, IE 6.0+, MS Office application, SQL, HTML scripting, Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop and other related IT applications or system
  • Solid experience in web application testing, developing test documents and managing user acceptance test
  • Experience with reporting tools used to administer and maintain database records
  • Good command in English and Chinese, both written and verbal.  Fluent in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and consulting skills with all staff levels, internal and external
  • Good team player and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility and loyalty
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively, taking a leading role where required and supporting where appropriate

Qualification Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information system or related disciplines
  • At least Five (5) years of experience in website or elearning development, LMS and learning technology related system administration and end user support
  • Two (2) years of managerial experience

Manager, Education & Development (Ref: M/EDD/HKSI/072015)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Education & Development Department (EDD), you will be an integral part of a team that provides Continuing Professional Training/Development (CPT/CPD) programmes and learning consultancy services to our clients.  You will be responsible for and/or assisting the EDD Executive Director in the following key areas:

  • Working closely with other senior training managers and key stakeholders to identify, formulate and execute training plan and programmes
  • Working closely with trainers and subject matters experts on design, development and deployment of learning solutions
  • Providing learning consultancy services to clients to help them identify the learning needs, design appropriate learning solutions and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning solutions
  • Preparing regular and special reports and conducting detailed analysis including business plans, budgets, proposals, research and evaluation reports
  • Leading ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management

Skills, Abilities and Experiences Required:

  • Solid experiences in identifying training needs, delivering, managing and evaluating training programmes
  • Proven experiences in providing learning consultancy services to clients or business partners
  • Proven experiences in instructional design of various types of learning solutions (e.g. classroom, elearn and/or blended learning solutions)
  • Familiar with different types of training and assessment tools for evaluating effectiveness of learning solutions
  • Strong writing and communication skills, both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good presentation, influencing, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage change
  • Ability to work collaboratively, taking a leading role where required and supporting where appropriate
  • Strong project management skills
  • Familiar with quality assurance as well as accreditation processes and requirements

Qualification Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Training & Development, Human Resources, or related relevant disciplines such as Information Technology Management, Business Administrative.
  • Professional qualification in learning and development will be an advantage
  • At least Five (5) years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Capital, Organisational Development, learning consultancy business or relevant experiences, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Two (2) years of managerial experience
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese).  Fluent in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in PC skills such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge and experience using SQL & HTML scripting is highly preferred
  • Candidate who has experience in building/setting up learning management system and/or elearn platform is a great plus

  • Good presentation skills;
  • Fluency in Putonghua is definitely an asset; and
