This PDFM training programme is jointly offered with the University of Hong Kong - The School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE) and has been restructured from the HKSI DPE programme. The PDFM programme has obtained the approval from the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong, which will recognize PDFM as the equivalent of DPE and as a recognized qualification in meeting the competence requirements in respect of Responsible Officers and Representatives licensed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
The PDFM programme does not alter the syllabus, subjects or content of the current DPE programme. HKSI only intends to amend the programme structure and the study mode by modularizing the current DPE papers (from 3 papers to 7 modules).
