Online Enrolment for the Licensing Examinations Available Now

The HKSI is pleased to announce that from 28 February 2005, applicants are able to enrol for the Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE) online via the HKSI's website (www.hksi.org) beginning with the LE examinations to be held in Hong Kong in March 2005.
 
Mr. Gary Cheung, Chief Executive of the HKSI said, "As an independent provider of the Licensing Examination and a premier provider of quality training programmes for the industry, we are keen to fine-tune our service offerings to ensure that they keep abreast of market developments."

The online enrolment mechanism provides further flexibility to applicants and, together with the HKSI's recent initiative enabling candidates to directly access their individual examination results via the HKSI website (as of September 2004), helps to assure that the HKSI's services are delivered in a timely manner.

With the high level of internet usage, this user-friendly alternative to the conventional enrolment channels will expedite the application process for applicants of the examination. In addition, this online enrolment function is also made available for practitioners¡¦ reservations of HKSI courses, professional events and seminars.
