Please note that detailed information relating to this examination is only available in Chinese. Following the introduction of the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), effective as of 1 January 2004, the PRC government has simplified the application process for Hong Kong professionals (defined as Hong Kong permanent residents holding a relevant licence issued by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC)) wishing to obtain securities and futures industry qualifications for Mainland China. Hong Kong professionals can now enrol for the PRC Securities Regulations Examination offered by the Securities Association of China (SAC)
through the HKSI. The SAC, instructed and supervised by the China Securities Regulatory Commission
(CSRC), is responsible for the organisation and the administration of the examination. The HKSI has been assigned by the SAC as the sole agent for
handling the enrolment and administration of the examination
for Hong Kong professionals. Hong Kong practitioners interested in taking the examination or learning the securities rules and regulations of the PRC may enrol for the
PRC Securities Regulations Examination
Preparatory Course.
