The HKSI Professional Diploma in Financial Markets (PDFM) aims to set a standard of competency across the securities and investment industry and to examine whether individuals have acquired the knowledge of principles and practices that apply to their job functions.
The PDFM is a 5-year programme comprising seven PDFM Modules.
All PDFM Modules are intended to form a core base of knowledge, which is important to students in their respective areas of practice and for their further learning and development.
The PDFM is designed to offer a high degree of flexibility, allowing individuals to pursue the programme at their own pace and by their preferred mode of study, either via the Training and Examination Mode (TE Mode) or the Examination-only Mode (EO Mode).
Potential candidates should note the Entry Requirements for registering as a PDFM Student.
PDFM Examinations will normally be offered in January and July of each year.
PDFM Students are required to pass all seven PDFM Modules to be awarded the HKSI certificate.
The HKSI has published study materials to assist PDFM Students in preparing for the PDFM Examinations.
