As shown in Table 1, when compared with the
correctness rates of the previous month, candidates'
performance in Topic 9 (Market Misconduct, Improper
Trading Practices and Compliance) has improved
considerably, but the correctness rate of Topic 5
(Business Conduct and Client Relations) shows a marked
decline.
Table 2 shows
the subject areas in which candidates performed
unsatisfactorily in the Jul 2005 exam and the
topics/sections in the Study Manual which cover these
subject areas.

As shown in Table 3, when compared with the
correctness rates of the previous month, candidates'
performance in both Topics 6 (Options and OTC
Derivatives) and 7 (Market Misconduct and Offences) saw
a marked decline. The correctness rates of the other 5
topics remain consistent.

the subject areas in which candidates performed
unsatisfactorily in the Jul 2005 exam and the
topics/sections in the Study Manual which cover these
subject areas.
