For certification purposes, all LE candidates (except for candidates of the Foundation Programme Examination (FPE) mentioned below) have 3 years to complete their preset combination of examination papers. The 3-year period will commence from the date of the first LE paper that the candidate passes.
If candidates have only partially completed the FPE and their 12-month completion period is still valid when the LE rolls out, they can convert their passed FPE papers into certain papers under the LE. Please
click here for conversion details. Certificates will be issued to the aforesaid FPE candidates if they can complete the additional required examination papers in the LE within a 3-year period commencing from the LE rollout date.
