* If an exemption is granted, the applicant has to pay an exemption fee of HK$1,100.
** An administration fee will be charged to
applicants. For details, please refer to the Examination
Handbook of the relevant examination.
*** To enroll in the DPE, individuals are
required to register as a DPE Registered Student. In view of the
introduction of the PDFM, the HKSI will no longer accept
applications for registration as a DPE Registered Student after
6 May 2006. Existing DPE Registered Students, whose three year
registration period is still valid, may choose to continue to
enroll for any DPE Papers or convert to the PDFM. Please call
the PDFM Hotline on (852) 31206250 for the details of conversion
from DPE to PDFM. The DPE will be offered by the HKSI for a
further three years, from July 2006 until July 2009 after which
time the DPE will lapse and will be replaced solely by the PDFM.
**** ONLY DPE Registered Students can apply for exemption from
Paper 1 after 6 May 2006.
