Students with recognised qualifications may apply for exemption from DPE Paper 1. The processing fee is HK$400 and is non-refundable regardless of the result. If exemption is granted, an exemption fee of HK$1,100 will be charged by the HKSI.
The HKSI
exemption policy is independent of any licensing,
registration and/or admission requirements of the
regulatory bodies, exchanges and/or institutions.
Individuals should refer to the latest requirements of
the relevant organisations for licensing, registration
and/or admission purposes before submitting their
application for exemption.
