Corporate Communications Manager (Ref: CCM/CEO/HKSI/022017)

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to CE office
  • Develop overall promotion and marketing strategy and plan using various media platforms to meet business objectives and to enhance stakeholder usage and engagement
  • Coordinate with business units and external parties to create and deliver marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic, such as press releases, media relations content, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, speeches, annual report, in-house publications and articles, speeches, periodic and thematic promotion campaigns to reach out to, and engage with, the professional community and targeted audience
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications; perform quality control on all communications, advertising and literature to ensure they comply with the regulatory requirement
  • Lead and coordinate website content development to ensure all information is up-to-date, comprehensive, well presented and comply with the brand guidelines
  • Handle media enquiries and organise events including media interview, press conference; research media coverage and industry trends
  • Handle enquiries from social media and perform analysis on stakeholder usage and engagement
  • Provide coaching to staff of other business units

Skills/Ability and Knowledge Requirement

  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, typographical, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Good command of English and Chinese languages
  • Proved strong organisational, planning and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media and able to use digital marketing tools
  • Independent, responsible and self-motivated individual with a positive and professional approach to management and work effectively with other team members

Qualification and Work Experience

  • Possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in languages, marketing, journalism, communications or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing, prior experience as an editor or journalist is preferred
  • At least 2 years in managerial role in corporate communications
  • Proven record of creation and production of brochures, direct mailers, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs and multi-media and multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Have track record of website development and management as well as mobile application development will be an advantage

Trainers (Part-time) for Financial Products and/or Capital Market Courses (Ref: T/EDD/HKSI/FP/022016)

Hong Kong Securities and Investment (HKSI) Institute is looking for part-time trainers to help deliver financial products and/or capital market related training courses(note a).

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance or other relevant professional qualifications such as CAIA, CIIA, CFA, CA, CPA;
2. At least 5 years of industry experience in investment banking, corporate banking, corporate finance, treasury;
3. At least 2 years of training experience preferably in any of the following areas:
– Corporate Finance, Merger and Acquisitions, IPO Listing or Equity Offering, Private Equity
– Corporate Credit, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Corporate Restructuring
– Equity and Debt Capital Markets
– Various types of financial products
– Financial modelling
– New financial products in the industry and the associated risk management systems; 
4. Able to deliver training in English, Cantonese and/or Putonghua

Hong Kong Securities and Investment (HKSI) Institute is looking for part-time trainers to help deliver Private Wealth Management (PWM) and/or Asset Management (AM) related training courses(note a).

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Law or other relevant professional qualifications such as CPWP, CIWM, CFA, CAIA;
2. At least 5 years of industry experience in private wealth and/or asset management sectors;
3. At least 2 years of training experience preferably in one of the following areas:
– Private Wealth Management Products and Services (Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asia Pacific region)
– Asset Management Products and Services
– Customer Relationship Management
– Alternative Investments and Investment Management
– Portfolio Management & Behavioural Finance
– Wealth Planning, Philanthropy and Family Office
– Credit and Leverage
– Risk Management, Compliance, Middle Office and Operations related to PWM or AM industry sectors;

Hong Kong Securities and Investment (HKSI) Institute is looking for part-time trainers to help deliver compliance or risk management related training courses(note a).

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, FRM;
2. At least 5 years of industry experience in roles or functions such as compliance, internal audit, AML, fraud investigation, Responsible Officer;
3. At least 2 years of training experience in topics such as
– Applicable compliance, legislative and regulatory standards related to securities and futures industry
– General law principles
– AML
– Fraud
– Cyber security
– Market misconduct
– Business conduct and ethical standards
– Risk management and control strategy
– Corporate governance
– Regulator regulatory, compliance and listing rules updates or recent development
– Basic regulatory framework of securities and futures industry
– Risk Management or Compliance related to middle and operations functions;
4. Able to deliver training in English, Cantonese and/or Putonghua
